I’m Sophie, let me tell you a little about myself and Coco Interiors.

Growing up in a magical part of the world, Sawtell NSW, my childhood was mostly spent outdoors. I enjoyed being immersed in nature, being barefoot, and grew a lifelong appreciation for Coastal Australia- the deafening chorus of cicadas at the height of Summer, the cleansing smell of salty afternoon sea spray, the gentle background hum of the bush choir at dusk. These sights and smells imprinted into my senses, and I am regularly inspired by the environment and landscape in my design work today.

My passion for interior design was ignited at age 12 when I saw a series of photographs by Slim Aarons in an old Vogue magazine. I was entranced by the mid-century architecture, glamourous interiors and enchanting gardens he captured in Palm Beach, Palm Springs and the Mediterranean. Our homes form the backdrop to our lives, and I believe that design should be timeless, reflect you and your style, and should feel wonderful to live in.

Becoming a mother and business owner has reinforced the importance of having a beautiful space to call home. At Coco Interiors, we work closely with every client to create beautiful spaces that inspire and transform. We take the time and care to listen to your needs, to understand your lifestyle and to intuitively tap into your vision.

I live here on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Queensland with my partner Ben and our two children, Summer and Ziggy.
